Baby Jogger City Select 2
The City Select 2 was released in the summer of 2021 and replaces the older City Select and City Select LUX strollers. It offers 24 different seating options and is able to convert into a triple stroller by the addition of the glider board (second seat and car seat are sold separately). The stroller is 20percent smaller and weighs slightly less than previous models. It has a wide range of accessories including a bellybar (included in the Eco Collection version), a second seat, a parent console and an armband.
The large storage basket can accommodate a lot of gear. They also liked how easy reclined the seats and there was plenty of legroom for both kids. The brake pedal is easily accessible and can be operated with one hand. While Get More is a little long and harder to maneuver, it is worth the extra space for parents who like roomy strollers.
Another feature we like is that the City Select 2 is compatible with Baby Jogger, Britax, Graco, Chicco and Maxi-Cosi infant car seats (adapters sold separately). This means that you can choose to use a single or double stroller for your child from birth to the age of toddler.
This stroller may not be cheap however, it is likely to be the only one you ever require. If you are able to afford it, we believe it's worth the cost. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
If you're looking for a double stroller that's easy carry and fits into tight spaces it's the Delta Children LX Side by Side is a good option. The stroller weighs 20 pounds in weight and can accommodate children of up to 50 pounds each. The canopy is large enough to shield against sun, wind and rain, and the seats recline for kids' comfort. The stroller is smaller than other strollers we tested and opens to a 29-inch width that allows it to fit into the standard doorways of 30 inches.
This product earned a low grade for user-friendliness in our test, but that's partly because it's so basic there are no storage bins or a deep recline on the seats, and the only parent cup holder is a small plastic container that sits on the handlebars. It does have a 5-point harness with double-rethread buckles, which are easier to adjust than the single-rethread buckles found on most other strollers.
During our testing, we evaluated the ease of being able to turn to fold, turn, and maneuver the strollers. Travel strollers often have limited space in the trunk of cars and folding and unfolding them is essential. Products that fold quickly and take only a few steps scored higher than those that have automatic locks. Strollers that stand upright when folded and are folded using a single hand also received high scores.
The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 was the most easy to push and turn. The Mountain Buggy Nano took a little more effort, but did well in our tests. The new Delta Children LX Side by Side is incredibly lightweight, with a folding frame that's nearly as compact as some of the top umbrella strollers. Its minimalist design and affordable price make this a great option for parents seeking a travel jogger that is easy to lift, carry, and to store.
